About the business

Dollars & Sense was built from a desire to help those who help others. Started in 2007, I have worked with Education Foundations, Chambers of Commerce, Community Centers, Churches, Family Resource Centers, and more to keep their books in order.

  • On a day to day basis, I can help with revenue recognition and expense tracking.
  • Some grantors need to receive periodic invoices or reports as a requirement of the grant. I work closely with your director to make sure your grantors are happy – and will keep you in mind for future grants!
  • The list of tasks that needs to happen at the turn of the year can be overwhelming: 1099s, payroll reports, budgeting for the next year. With Dollars & Sense, your books will be in the perfect order to handle these tasks.

I’m Jennine, and I call western Washington home. Life here is full of simple joys — hanging out with my hubby, walking my dog, being teased by my cat, cooking something new in the kitchen, and getting out in nature whenever possible.

I’ll admit I have a bit of “bookkeeper brain” — I get excited when numbers line up neatly and I can’t help but mentally balance things (even grocery receipts). But outside of work, I love keeping life lighthearted with fresh air, good food, and plenty of laughter.
